downtown driggs community association

DDCA Program Manager

June 3, 2016

The Downtown Driggs Community Association is looking for an enthusiastic, independent, and self-starting individual to lead the organization and help develop all aspects of the Main Street Four-Point Approach®. A desire and dedication to creating a vibrant downtown Driggs is a requirement, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Involvement, knowledge, or interest in past DDCA events as a participant or volunteer is a plus. The number of hours will vary throughout the year with an expected average of 20 hours/week with more hours spent in January and July due to additional time needed for managing the Snowscape and Plein Air events. This is currently a part-time contract position, but it has the potential to grow into a full-time employment position under the right leadership.

Job duties include:
  • Coordinate and manage DDCA Events;
  • Motivate, develop, and manage volunteers;
  • Work with business and property owners (getting out of the office and interacting with people regularly);
  • Solicit donations and sponsorship for events, programs, and the organization;
  • Grant funding research, preparation, and reporting;
  • Collaborate with the City of Driggs, the Teton Valley Chamber of Commerce, Teton Valley Business Development Center, Driggs Urban Renewal Agency, Teton Geotourism Center, and other entities;
  • Maintain good public relations, including website and social media updates;
  • Educate stakeholders on the importance of the Main Street Four-Point Approach®;
  • Handle administrative tasks with the officers of the board;
  • Regularly communicate with the board president; and
  • Attend all board meetings and relevant public meetings.

Please email a cover letter and resume electronically in pdf form to info@downtowndriggs.org. This position is open until filled, but applications are encouraged prior to August 1, 2016.

Visit Driggs for the arts, culture, and outdoor recreation, and experience  great shopping and dining downtown!
